From research to consultancy

Katya Konsult began in Newcastle upon Tyne as a way to bring my research and teaching experience into applied project work.
I’m a research geoscientist and physicist with a Ph.D. in Physics & Mathematics (Saint Petersburg) and training spanning Geophysical Exploration and Physics (M.Sc. & B.Sc.). I’ve worked across applied geoscience and marine research, delivering defensible interpretation from complex datasets—particularly ground-penetrating radar (GPR), subsurface modelling, and quantitative analysis. I hold certificates in GPR Surveying & Processing Techniques and Seismic Refraction & SR Tomography. Formal CV is available upon request.
